• Non diagnostic samples or samples lost in the post will be non refundable 

• Sample turn-around times quoted in ‘services’ section do not include time taken for samples to reach Cytovet. Cytovet can not be held responsible for postal delays. First Class postage should take approximately 1-2 days for delivery and second class 2-5 days. Please take this into account when submitting samples.

• Cytology is a screening tool used to compliment other clinical information. Any discrepancy between clinical findings and cytological findings should be investigated using alternative diagnostic techniques and/or pursued by histopathology

• I am a veterinary surgeon with extensive experience examining cytology samples, but please note that I am not a clinical pathologist and do not have access to a large scale commercial laboratory

• Once images are sent they are then the property of Cytovet and can be used by the property owner for promotion or teaching purposes 

• It is the responsibility of the referring vet to gain permission from the client as necessary to share images and details of their pet prior to submitting samples
